Volunteers

Each year the Portsmouth Criterium puts on a one day event that is only possible with the support of all the amazing volunteers!  This year’s event, scheduled for Sunday, September 9, 2012 has opportunities for volunteers in the following areas:

• Road Marshaling
• Course set-up and break-down
• Loading and unloading hay bales
• Hanging no-parking signs on meters (48 hours before the event)
• Directing parking
• Children’s Race
• VIP Tent
• Volunteer Check-In
• Various Administrative Tasks

All volunteers will receive a T-Shirt and are graciously invited to the post event party solely for volunteers and event sponsors immediately following the race on Sunday, September 9th (approximately 6:30PM). Food and beer will be provided by our title sponsor Smuttynose Brewing Co. and great prizes will be raffled off.

If you cannot help out on race day, inquire about Friday evening and Saturday assistance.
We need help on those days too.
